May I Ask You A Question? How I'm Using a Quiz to Connect With My Tribe

I'm posting this blog to share a recent feature that I started to use in my business.

Recently I was approached by a company named Interact to see if I would be interested in using their quiz in my business.

When they first reached out, I gotta admit I was a bit skeptical. You know how it is on the innanet...all kinds of strange things can happen. Luckily for me, the contact was legit and the offer was a no-brainer.

I've been exploring many ways to engage more with my audience and to identify and connect with my target client who is in need of my help and who I would love to serve. Then in comes this quiz software.

It's simply amazing. I can customize quiz templates, ask relevant questions of my audience that will help to identify their specific issues and best of all...it has a really user friendly interface.

I've selected my first quiz  and titled it 'Are You Ready To Thrive In Your Career?'.

If you want to find out whether or not coaching is right for you, or if you truly desire to have bigger and better outcomes for your career...this quiz is a must try.

Here is what I love about the quiz:

It's fun. It's informative. It's low risk (for me and my clients) and it's diverse.

Go ahead and give it a try and let me know what you think. Expect to see more quizzes popping up from me. It's really cool software. Thanks Jessmyn and crew for letting me test drive your amazing software.

Are You Dressed For Success?

It's the first day of summer, did you come prepared? Are you dressed for success?

When you get dressed, who do you dress for? Dressing for success is far more than dressing to impress others, it is about dressing to reflect who YOU are authentically, it is coming into your confidence so that instead of trying to draw people to you, you naturally attract the right attention.

Image sabotage happens when we fail to realize the power of personal presentation. How we put our look together, in terms of grooming, clothing, overall attire most definitely impacts the impressions we make. It has a definite initial impact on our ability to form meaningful connections.

I'm sure you've heard it before and I can tell you, it really is true. When we look good, we feel good. We are confident and we are able to ask for what we want and need, and ultimately...get it. When we know ourselves we spend less time worrying about what others think and more time building and sustaining meaningful connections.

I consult to emerging leaders, mid career professionals and entrepreneurs who want to enhance their personal brand by elevating their personal and professional style. Click the link below to find how you can have a professional style that is distinguished and captivating.

Canada's Top 100 Black Women to Watch 2017

This past weekend I had the pleasure of attending the annual gala hosted by the Canada International Black Women Event (CIBWE). I attended as a recipient of this award, in the category of entrepreneurship.

I am truly very thankful to Velma Morgan who nominated me as a recipient, as well as to Rose Cathy Handy and her team for selecting me to be among so many accomplished and driven women who are making a difference in their communities.

I see this acknowledgement as confirmation that I am in fact on the right path and it gives me further encouragement to continue on my mission of helping professionals to truly reach the pinnacles of success by believing in and tapping into their potential.

Grateful and humbled!
