A Brand Must Evolve

Your brand is the authentic story that you create and the experience that you leave behind. If your brand is to stay top of mind, it must evolve over time.

Throwing it back to 11 years ago when I first decided to create my personal and business brand. I started as an Image Consultant. My vision, to help people look good and feel good so that they have the confidence to take charge of their life.

The process was always organic for me. As a creative, I wanted to do it all. My first logo was chosen by a designer. It was light blue and lime green. My company named was Teca Cameron Image Management Agency. I had a big vision and still do. The name sounded right...at the time.

Was it me? At the time, I felt it could be. I molded to the brand. Those were the colours of the moment. It worked. Was it authentically me? Not entirely. The name over time became complicated. People didn't get it. My story was muzzled.

Then in 2013, I did it again. This time, after a long hiatus, I changed my vision for my brand. I phased into leadership development, training and coaching because it was in alignment with the corporate vision that I initially had for my brand. It worked, yet something was still missing.

Fast forward to 2017, many experiences, much research, time spent finding my tribe, the people I want and desire to work with who are in alignment with my vision and who need the help I can provide.

I have arrived.

My brand story has evolved to a place where I feel it tells my story. It creates the experience that I desire.  My chosen colours (gold, white, red/orange, black with hints of teal)  speak to who I am at my core and the energy I wish to share with others. Every detail down to the fonts selected for my brand has been given careful thought.

So...this long story is to say...

I'm putting out the old and bringing in something new. I believe in re-engineering, re-positioning and pivoting when it is required.
