Style Secrets: Trendsetter-ripped denim yay or nay?
If you are going to wear ripped denim, you gotta have the thighs to pull it off. Not too much and not too little adipose tissue is the order of the day, just somewhere in the middle. This look is for the fun, trendsetting fashionista who doesn’t mind baring a little skin. Would you catch me in these jeans…uhm, not so much. Maybe 15 years ago but not today. There is a time and place for everything and this ain’t for every setting or for everyone. Worn ‘appropriately’ it can be cute, really…it can.
A trendsetter is a female who takes major risks with fashion. She does not shy away from that which is risky, in your face or downright confusing for the ordinary citizen. If you love to set trends then you are probably the girl who would be caught in tore up denim.
In this ensemble, we paired a bright yellow/orange ombre tank with light denim and orange cork bottom pumps. The tube style gold/silver statement necklace and a gold watch is all that you need. Do not over accessorize as the denim is the stand out piece in this look. A slouch handbag, a cute hair do and a fresh face and girlie you’re ready to strut.
